Just been reading the "why buy a Quartz thread".

Seems I was a bit fortunate today, given I was wearing this.
Both the AD and other dealer I visited let me try on a couple of high end automatics - without making assumptions just because of the watch I was wearing!

ZULU strap is not a natural marriage with a pilot watch, but the colour and blasted fittings work well.
Also a perfect length that the loose end goes under both rings, without leaving anything to fold & tuck.
