Unsurprisingly, it was this one again today:

This is one of those watches that has had an instant impact on me - causing me to re-evaluate several others in my collection.

Really like the look of that, tried on the black one a couple of weeks ago think I’ll have to find an AD with a blue one to try. Richard,I know you have looked at the B.B. Steel is your opinion that the Bremont a better watch?
Apart from this weekend it’s just not getting much wrist time

When I've looked at the new Bremont's in photos or in the AD those lugs look long, a bit out of proportion to the case. How do they look to you with it on your wrist?

Hmmm. That's a tricky question. For me, the Bremont is a better fit on my wrist than the Black Bay, and having the BBR, I was unlikely to buy a BB Steel. However, there is no denying the inherent quality in the Tudor with its in-house 70 hour movement and undoubted heritage. The Bremont, on the other hand, is essentially a standard ETA in a fancy case. Personally, I'm a fan of the multi-part Bremont case and I have found this watch to be a revelation which is sure to cause a few others to depart my collection. If the residual values are a concern, I think you need would need to find a good deal on the Bremont.

The online images (from Bremont) do the watch no favours at all, and I agree, in a lot of the material the lugs look out of proportion. In the metal, that observation disappears - due (I think) to the curve of the lugs. For me, this is a well-proportioned case.
