P.S. That's still one on my "would love to own" list! :D
I've got my Seaforth in tow too. Think it'll get worn tomorrow after being my Toronto watch last week!

Seiko Tuesday.

Started first thing with this for a bit of leaf clearing and apple picking.

Now switched to this.

There was a time when the non CW of the day thread would include a GS most days.

I guess most would like the GS, but I really like this one. Cheap, but still a Seiko. 'Nuff said.

^^^^ The Kinetic gets worn a lot more than the GS. I want to wear the GS more, but rightly or wrongly I view it as less robust for everyday wear than the likes of Rolex/Tudor/Omega, so it gets left in the box.

Interesting that. I assume it's the SD movement you view as less robust, or is it the watch in general?

Owning a quartz GS, I naturally don't have any concerns about the movements robustness. My initial concern was spoiling the zuratsu finishing.
Last year, I was working on a one-off project at work until the small hours with a deadline looming the same morning. Getting tired and forgetting it was on my wrist, I started rummaging around installing parts into a steel cabinet ... ended up getting quite a few marks on it
Initially I was gutted, but now I wear it 90% of the time with no such concerns.

As much as I love it, it is just a watch and I'll send it back to Japan one day for a ninja polish (probably when the £ improves  ).
Last time I received a quote for re-finishing (pre-brexit), it was £425 inc. postage ... and that was just the case :-&
