Re: Non CW of the Day
Ooo I like that Tudor. Is that the Black Bay 41mm with blue bezel? I've been looking at either Omega Seamaster 300 41mm or Tudor Black Bay with Blue Bezel for sometimes next year. Would like the Pelagos but I think it's going to be massive on my tiny wrist [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES].Boydesian wrote:Old pic:

Re: Non CW of the Day
Posted this on the CWOTD thread by mistake. Like no ones ever done that before? Been sent packing with my head bowed in shame! I'm really really sorry.
Steve.

This may help different BB but same size next to a 41mm Seamaster the only way to get a true feeling is to try them on
I find the Pelagos too big

We're discovering some beautiful little towns on our travels, such as Semur-en-Auxois

That BB looks bigger than the Seamaster. Probably it will wear slightly bigger than the actual size. I did try the Seamaster and wears small actually and fits my tiny wrist perfectly compare to my Aquis [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]. Thanks

Thanks Patrick,Thegreyman wrote:^^^every one of today's selections look superb
I'm liking the Tag F1 panda which looks great on that Steveo. Also is that the Bremont Zulu that was in SC Nick, looks like a real bargain
As Neil said, I bought it at the same time as DM from Beaverbrooks. I thought that I would start a little Bremont sub collection!

Yes. That is an ETA-powered, blue bezel Black Bay. I too, initially went for the Pelagos, but it was just too bulky in my eyes. I tried on the Black Bay, and walked out with it a half hour later. My wrist measures 7.25 inches (just under 18.5 cm), and for me the Black Bay is in a Goldilocks Zone; not too big, or too small. I absolutely love it!willykatie wrote:Ooo I like that Tudor. That being so, I must say that I do not like the new, in-house powered Black Bays. First of all, they ditched the classic Tudor Rose in favor of the rather pedestrian shield logo, they now come with needless chronometer certification, and then went and put them on a riveted bracelet that I think is kind of ugly. I think if I went in for a new Tudor today, I would walk out of the store with an Omega instead (but it would be an Aqua Terra, not a dive watch). I would advise that you try a little-worn, previously owned ETA Black Bay if your heart is set on one. You should be able to pick one up for less money than new (at least in the short run) and to me they just look better. All of the above are my own, subjective opinions I know, so whatever you end up doing, I wish you all the best.

I did watch a few reviews on YouTube and most of the reviewers did say the same that they're not sure about the new in house movement even though has higher power reserve, I think 70 hours? I wonder it's because a new movement and nothing wrong with the old ETA movement
I'll check and probably try one next year as if do it now I probably end up getting it and put myself into debt [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]
Thanks

Oh god no, I've never done that - just as I didn't have footy & co take the p*** out of me for it before I could correct it. No, didn't happen to me....
