Non CW of the Day

Post by gaf1958 »

Spent the morning finalising some work on one of my Seiko 7548 divers. Dating from 1981 it was in pretty good basic nick, but it now has a sapphire crystal (not done by myself, as I do want it to be reasonably water resistant!). I fitted another bezel insert, did some reworking of the the radial finish on the lugs and a light polishing of the case sides and back, then it finished off with a new Miltat president style bracelet. If I say so myself, it hasn't turned out too shabbily... It doesn't quite look brand new, but it does look pretty presentable. :)

Green bezel works well and sapphire is a good upgrade from hardlex. Looks great :)
