Thank you for the comments the Rolex is a small 32mm by today's standards but is a fine under the radar dress watch. Interesting comments about a forerunner of the explorer never really saw that until you said.

No sent a couple of images of some Essex guy, and they came up with this
Yep, thought I better dig "Charles" out for this morning
A good pic of watch and art Dave.
Two observations if I may:
- the art chappy could give you a bit of a fright if you returned home late at night after a few too many sherbets!
- is it the norm for a Panerai owner to generally wear the watch on the same strap, whilst still having a very large box of bespoke straps for the same watch that get little use?

- One doesn't have too many sherbets, therefore one will not have a fright Neil
- That strap hasn't been on for quite some time, only changed it this morning - I'll blame photobucket for loosing previous pics
- Box of bespoke straps Who me?
There we go Neil - just taken off one of my favourite straps.
Ahem, old pic
(Photo taken against one of Dave's fine photographs transferred onto canvas )
The Ultimate Postman has delivered his last package.

Trouble with the Chrono P'type is not so much the height but the weight, plus I've now got it on my GasGasBones strap which is just too good.

Good call on the weight issue. The ggb is the only acceptable NATO.
