Looks good DM these are great little watches still miss mine when Neil posts it. I'm tempted to preorder a matte mark 2 diver but even with 15% they're still pricey

I think from a previous post it's a 36mm the newer ones are 39mm. But it is a fantastic watch looks great now SteveThegreyman wrote:The Explorer isn't a Rolex that I've really paid much attention to, but I must say that looks fantastic Steve, like new
Out of interest is it 39/40mm?

Re: Non CW of the Day
It's a shame the prices have gone up (that'll be the hipster/ instagram effect) but the flip side of this is they are Britain's oldest watch brand still in production and that is a 30 year old barely unchanged design that's seen many years of military use. I can only really think of two other watches that have stood the test of time like that and were ordered (proved themselves) for government contracts - the speedmaster and the submariner and the Cwc is now way more of a true tool diver than the sub these days. When you look at it like that It's worth every penny (or at least the mineral crystal version is) and it helps that these are very hard to take off once you put them on.neil8fletcher3 wrote:Dancematt wrote:Looks good DM these are great little watches still miss mine when Neil posts it. Stunning, want 1 every time I see a picture but just can't imagine spending or justifying the money necessary to get it on my wrist.

I used to feel the same. Then I took the plunge. I've NEVER regretted it!

That is indeed the case, they really are a wonderful watch. Once I bought the first one I was hooked, I've never regretted any of mine.Boydesian wrote:I used to feel the same. Then I took the plunge. I've NEVER regretted it!
