Not normally a fan of square watches mark but that looks really good, and I do like longines.
And...Thanks patrick

Thanks people
I am very pleased with it and it manages to fulfill 4 spaces in my box.
Although it's new it fulfills the vintage space - its designed on a 1969 watch.
It fulfills a dress watch on leather
It fullfills my day to day watch
It, technically, also fulfills my birthyear watch - 1969

I'm very happy - unfortunately the good lady doesn't like it at all.

Mark, do I detect that you are no longer wearing the DJ or Submariner on such a regular basis?

To some degree yes.
The SubC actually gets a lot more wrist time when compared to my older 5 digit Sub.

Both the Sub and the DJ are in my collection to stay and they do get worn, although I wear them more when I'm out and about. I wanted to add a couple of watches that were different and served a purpose. The Sinn is now my true tool watch for being in my scruffs or for use on holiday and the like, the CWC is now my grab and go quartz watch and is my more robust day to day watch as required. This Longines was for something a little different and to be my go to day to day work watch. One of the problems I have had in the past is that my collections have been to similar within meaning that I had too much crossover. This collection is much more rounded and they all get worn - albeit the DJ on a slightly less basis.
