Ah! It was you who went for it.

Lovely watch. What are your thoughts?

Yes it was a bit of a spur of the moment thing - there was a regular black version in Sales Corner which was much cheaper but didn't really do it for me and when Guy first posted about this being customised as a Panda at Elliot Brown I thought it was a fantastic looking piece.

I don't usually like white faced watches but this is more of a cream colour and in the Panda configuration it's a cracking watch....and has a certain heft when on the bracelet..!!! I'm not sure why Elliot Brown don't do this particular variant as an option as I'm sure it would be popular.

Unusually for me I quite like the combo of the watch on its standard bracelet but I tend to prefer my watches on a NATO although on this model the distance between the bars and body is such that only a thin NATO can get through - I did try another couple of NATOS which I think also work.

I'm now eyeing up the Canford as a possible future purchase.... :)

^^^ @neilj568 - you should be able to use a thicker NATO if you use curved, rather than straight spring bars.

Good suggestion Neil...

But they are screw in bars as opposed to springbars. :(

All you need to do is remove screw-in bars, lay thicker NATO / ZULU in place and reinsert screw-in bars.

I give you the latest Shanghai Rotary homage. Oops, sorry, it's a Cartier Tank.

Yes I expect that would work although the NATOs shown in the photos all work fine for me.

To be honest Graham, my reaction was little more than a roll of the eyes.

Thankfully, there are many new members who join this forum, keen to learn, and naturally, they have gaps in their knowledge. Had Harpy's comment come from this point of view, it would have been fair enough...

However, after looking into a few things, it's clear to me that Harpy is the latest (and at least the third) incarnation of a previously banned forum member, who has a personal agenda with a few of us on here.

The moves are all fairly predictable and hopefully, he will have the good sense to walk away - although based on previous behaviour, that seems unlikely.
Was this connected to that twitter rant a while ago?

Anyway…
