Re: Non CW of the Day
Nice Bern - looks like a prettier, modern version of mine (nice white-on-black date window for example), and much less 'abused' as you still have all the paint in your bezel numbers:tempusmaximus wrote:This one today .

Re: Non CW of the Day
Thanks Nick , its not the one I wanted though , although I am happy with this model . He decided to keep the other Cal 5 300m Aquaracer (it was the watch he had on when his daughter was married ) so he offered me my money back , or this one at a slightly reduced price compared to the other , so I chose to go for this . I have put it on the NATO today . It did come with the bracelet box & papers .smegwina wrote:Huzzah! There she is. Great pickup Bern. A most unusual aquaracer!!!tempusmaximus wrote:This one today .

Yes they are quartz, but they look nice, and are therefore a great 'grab and go' watch...

Very smart indeed Neil; both watch and straps.nbg wrote:Trying out the Pelagos on a new strap from Carl. That's another holiday watch/strap combination sorted.
It took longer to arrive than his estimated lead time, however unprompted he very kindly put in a couple of extras, which was a great gesture.

I, too, ordered a couple of straps from Carl in the New Year and enquired about them earlier this week.
He told me that he'd run out of the blanks for the engraved buckles. Likewise, without prompting, I've been promised some goodies as well.
