Re: Non CW of the Day
This today, with a new WatchGecko prototype leather zuludiver. For the tenner I paid, it's a nice strap, although with it being so thin (2mm) it stretches and marks very easily. However, I do love the brushed buckle, and it's very comfortable to wear.
I have to say, after a few months this watch has really grown on me. I bought it when I came across it on a one-day offer website for £70. I was looking for a cheap blue dial beater and from the images this fit the bill. It turns out that the dial is green! For £70 it's a lot of watch, although I don't think I would pay full whack (rrp £235). I really like the textured dial and the date placement, the crosshairs and the jet plane second hand felt a little gimicky at first but I quite like the fun element they bring. The Miyota 8215 is surprisingly accurate (+7 secs per day), and it has a display back. The lume is also pretty decent, certainly better than on my Makaira Pro.
I've now also received a brushed oyster bracelet from WatchGecko, and although I haven't had time to fit it to a watch yet, the quality and feel is superb for such a modest price. This is the first time I have bought straps from Watch Gecko, but it won't be the last!

Non CW of the Day
I'm going out later for the New Year festivities, and decided to wear something dressy and unusual. The Corum would work, but it's a bit outré for my present mood, so the Gyromatic it is!

Re: Non CW of the Day
That looks like a sensible sized conventional looking Graham Graham . Or should that be an unconventional looking Graham, as it looks totally different and better than their normal stuff. 42mm case size?
