tempusmaximus wrote:@sinner , that is a cracking looking Bauhaus dress watch , is this the model with the ST1700A hand wind / version of the ST17 movement .
Sorry for the long response (don't know if it makes sense)

Yes it is. And it is stunning watch.

Funny story: got it from a friend as a "non runner". His wife tossed it off the table to wood floor and it stopped.

I have called my watchsmith and while waiting for the watch to send to him it just started working. I have worn it for a while and then returned it to a friend along with a Christmas present for him,a old Seiko 5 found at pawn shop and rehauled.

He will be surprised when package arrives (have not told him about miracle self healing Compadre)

Watch itself (although homage) is stunning. For 50$ delivered to your door, you can't find a better one.

Oh,and merry Christmas to all! Bit late ...

A day out doing tourist stuff in the city where we live. Who knew the London Canal Museum would prove to be the highlight? The kids turned into Rosie and Jim

Thanks Nick. I asked the butler to tell the chauffeur to actually start the car this time. He was a little dubious, but he let me sit in the driver's seat for long enough to take a photo before chasing me out.

It's a bit less colourful than the last one, but hi-de-ho, what can I do
