That looks fabulous.
Tan, tan, tarrar! (trumpet fanfare)
Excellent christam and unusual to see it on a bracelet. Congratulations.
Young and sporty type? Think that was me. but surely its a state of mind, not a physical attribute :grovelling apology:

Thanks both. When I bought the watch, Alex and Ian said I was the first person that they knew of who'd asked for that model on a bracelet. Santa was also kind enough to bring me the blue leather and white rubber straps, so there's no prospect of growing bored with so many options available
And there's no apology needed Guy: my state of mind is permanently young, even if it never was particularly sporty
I am not a collector of watches. I used to be able to say that and know I was telling the truth.

That's nice! You've got a great brother.
I was looking at these, and other Animal watches, a few weeks back but could never find a case size? What size is yours.
Can see a few design cues in common with an Elliot Brown Bloxworth; not surprising considering the personnel involved.

Its about 40mm. Early Animals have some excellent attention to detail considering their original price bracket like a signed screwed down crown and decent lume.
Infact I bought another off ebay and restored it a little yesterday, just need some humbrol black for the bezel logos. Love this one. Nutty but legible. These and Kahuna were the tool watches of the 90s for my generation and because I'm too bloody addicted to give up collecting I think this cheap but underrated brand would make a cool one braand collection :

Proper old skool loved these back in the day and the mountain bike scene which I think they sponsored
That is lovely Neil. I saw the first pic just as I was heading out and thought "wow". The second shot just confirms it's even nicer than it looked in the first shot.

Thanks Gary. Hand winder, so the back view is also rather nice, as is the side view .
Thanks Bernie. I think it is a watch I am unlikely to flip. For me the great thing about the brand is that, other than a small proportion of watch enthusiasts, it goes completely unnoticed.

Stunning new photos Neil just shows what a special watch this is.
Quite rightly as you said, "other than a small proportion of watch enthusiasts, it goes completely unnoticed".
It does indeed...........

A good wearable size for many.
Love the copper dial one. Just a bit of humbrol black, eh? Plus a fine paintbrush and a very steady hand.

Inspired by the Everrose Yachtmaster, I picked up an Everest rubber strap for my GMT Master. Very pleased with it - it reduces the overall weight of the watch and makes it far more casual. Switching between this and the PCL bracelet is like having two different watches:
I now need to get a rubber strap for the Exp II - although AFAIK Everest don't make one, so it may need to be a Rubber B.
