Not the best picture, and possibly a marmite watch, but in a shop full of terrific watches it stood out. Finally, a white diver with a contrasting bezel, and finally, a GS.
Marmite perhaps, but I for one really like it. From the comments, it seems I'm not the only one either.
Congrats on a lovely pickup Richard.

Non CW of the Day

Trouble is, it has made me want an Omega one now. :(
Looks good Nick, but if I may humbly suggest, there is no substitute for the original moon watch. At 42mm you may find it on the borderline for you, but as Guy has suggested there are 44mm+ models that may suit you better. For my, shall we say, more modestly sized wrist, I'll stick with the 42, and usually in hand winding form at that. The very nice Bulova may be the catalyst to get you to buy one... ;)

Nice one Richard! Not what I expected! Quite big, but wears well I imagine. Will be interested to follow how you get on with that one.

Thanks for all the GS positivity fellas. I looked long and hard at a bunch of GS in two different AD's, but in the end this one fits best into my collection - and may well stop me wanting a white ceramic Daytona - which would be good for the watch fund.

Ho ho ho

Yeah it's tiny "smegs" :silent:
Well unless anyone is prepared to pay the "Grey" price of 50% more than the Rolex AD retail price I venture to say that's the only ceramic Daytona likely to be seen on this forum for a while!

A Grail watch wanted by many Dave and great that your business with the AD was rewarded by you winning the draw. :)

.. . . and if you do find a Speedmaster, much as I may have some reservation, I'm sure I could find a home for your Bulova Moonwatch.

In the meantime @downer, to join the plaudits that's a stunning GS. My type of watch, as opposed to all the dress variants.

Finally, had a low key family celebration this evening, instead of tomorrow, so switched to my Damasko.

Great lume shot Guy ; I hadn't realised the dial had lume - not something I have seen on other watches.
