41.5mm and I am starting to prefer smaller and lighter watches.

I very nearly bought one of those - I got my old Seiko 5 watch for the first time in a long time (it was an 18th birthday present, sadly that's a while back now!) and realised I do very much like the day-date display.

Since a Rolex Day-Date is out the question (unless things suddenly change financially!), I've been casting around for rather less expensive options, the Tissot being one, and also there are couple of Hamilton Jazzmasters which I quite like. Plus the new(ish) Breitling Transocean, though that's the wrong side of £3k still and not many used ones around.

The Tissot is a lovely watch, though.

My new bit of wrist-candy... Wanted to get one for my 40th but couldn't do it at the time. But a year or so later...
