Non CW of the Day
Re: Non CW of the Day
Cheers Pete ^^ (ref Farer)
I agree they have a Nomos type appeal but with more interesting designs - Nomos works so well as they are generally so clear and precise.
Regarding your points.
I would have prefered a 100 mtr wr but for what I want 50 mtr will be fine
The crystal has been improved for the automatics - they should look at improving the crystal in the quartz models (that will obviously have an impact on price)
I haven't tried a NATO as yet but will at some point. I'm very pleased with the leather and the mesh.
I'm so pleased I would be very happy to have another. In fact I will do so if the Ludwig sells. Can't decide between the Beagle and the Endurance.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Thanks, I love it. From the Nomos site it is 38.5 mm across with a height of 8.45 mm. Hand wound with the date disc surrounding the movement to keep it thin. I've tried on the automatic 40mm version and felt it was a bit too large for my 16.5cm wrist.Mgstax wrote:What size is That? Very nice watch.

Thank you Mark. It's a tough one with indoor lighting and a smartphone !

^^^ I found it a really great watch to photograph. Probably the stunning dial and the contrast with it's blue hand.

I find my GS is the most difficult to snap because the iPhone is constantly doing its auto-focus thing as the light catches the case and markers at different angles with the slightest movement.
Beautiful watches and craftsmanship but apple needs to up its game and invent the iPhone camera specifically for it
Anyway, just because…
I might try it back on the bracelet again

I hear GS are commissioning a smartphone soon actually......it will be a complete success but the marketing will be a vision of discovery, self selective and distinct. It'sAliveJim wrote:
