I wore the mbii for a while, and am now appreciating the 43mm case again.

This wears larger than the mb as it does not have the internal bezel, so the dial appears larger on the wrist. The silver dial has an impact too.

The chrono movement is also a bit taller which helps, as does the module added to the movement for the regatta countdown timer (this is what the 2 crescents are for)

I am not convinced that the polished case will prove as hardy as the normal brushed one, though I do like the heat blued hands.

The Marathon looks amazing on that bracelet by the way! How is the weight when on the strap?

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the info on your Bremonts.

As to the weight of my Marathon on the Super Engineer, its pretty hefty despite being quartz, at 224g.

About the weight of your Sea Dweller or is that heavier?

Guy

All black today. Haven't worn this one for almost 3 years, but it's getting some exercise today.

Non CW of the Day

My Swiss Army, ten years old next month, probably should have it serviced, it still keeps good time so maybe just have the seals replaced?

I think that must be pushing the heaviest watch on the forum! Blimey.

I think the DeepSea is only about 215-220 depending on the no of links.

Can't think of anything heavier than your Marathon.
