Non CW of the Day
Re: Non CW of the Day
^^^^ Ah I see what you did there Richard. I was wondering when a different dial would appear.
Looks good. I think the two Golf versions are the pick of the bunch, along with the Skyfall blue.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Thanks to an excellent heads-up from a member of this forum, I was able to buy a NOS "Captain's Watch" version of the Golf series to add to my existing black/green version.nbg wrote:^^^^ Ah I see what you did there Richard. I was wondering when a different dial would appear.

Now I just need to sell my Nomos and all will be good.

A touch different from the usual fliegers which is no bad thing and a worthy addition to the collection.
What are your impressions of the bronze? It looks nice and subtle.

If I could have bought it without the bracelet and saved the 4/500 squid it might be worth - I would have.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

So impressed, I just ordered one for myself and I already have a spare strap just like that. Got to be worth £49Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:New addition to the collection today.

46mm at the bezel but the case curves inwards so is only about 40mm on the wrist. Lug2lug is 52mm but they curve downward really well.james80 wrote:Looks good Guy, how big is it?

Certainly not a regular Fleiger, shades of Hanhart to it with the fluted bezel. Really like the 3 date window.
Loving the faux antique bronze. As you surmised very tastefully done, just nicely matt with black shading for patina.
Another feature is the sweep seconds hand as the chrono works on the two sub-dials.
Superb value at RRP of £99 but a complete bargain at the £49 I paid.
