I put the strap on, took the photo then lost confidence that this combo works. Any suggests on a leather strap that works with this would be most welcome.

Don't see many "modern" Komandiskie in the field: how do you rate it? Why? Is it a Seiko movement?

Of course its powered by the Inhouse movement 2416b. Like the modern Amfibia(not the usual Amphibias) and the K65 series this K34 is very well built.
The movement is slightly decorated and accuratly regulated(about -1,5s/d).
Dial and hands finish is very nice, the lume(on hands and the applied indizes/numbers) could be better but we know that problem from the CW watches ;)
The case finish is very good, the bezel lines up perfectly(120 clicks) and turns without play, but the grip could be better. A flaw is the mineral crystal, but we are talking about a 150€ watch.
The bracelet is well made, the solid endlinks are ok too. The clasp could be better but is still ok.

I would say it is comparable to mid priced Seikos like the new Turtles or my Orientstar Classic. Built quality of the Vostok is a bit better, at least compared to the Turtle i had.

Thank for the suggestions on my SMPc gents.
Having done a bit more research I think I will look into this Hirsch James suggestion.

This watch gets a lot of positive comments from both watch and non-watch people for some reason. It's eye catching, and silly in a way, but I like it!
