The changes to the new version are big improvements to me particularly the filled lume in the 3,6,9 and I would like to have a look at one. At this stage I very much doubt there will be another change as I like the current balance I have.
I reckon the current 3 are a good mix - fluted, smooth and black aluminium bezels, white, greyish and black dials, Jubilee and Oyster bracelets and 3 different size cases. Job done.

I agree - it does feel a great balance with all bases covered - dress, casual and sport ticked. As you say it should be job done
^^^^^ Mark it a good job (well for your wife!) that you don't like chronos, cause I read on another forum that the actual case size of a Daytona is 38.66mm not 40mm as shown in the listed spec.

An even better size than the OP....
Neil
It is a good job. Not only that I don't like chronos but that I have a great collection because the good lady has been pushed too far recently. Apparently I will be having nothing for quite some time. For once I believe she meant it - can't complain I've had a great run. Time to lay low and be nice I think...
^Thanks. I like the watch, but I cannot make up my mind if I should buy it. I will post a new thread with all the details, asking price, and movement pictures. It has a Venus 188 manual wind chronograph. Swiss ebauche but watch is likely made in France. Estimated age circa 1955-1960.
Is that a pic taken from the window of the weekend house in the country?
Neil
Yes indeed Neil. No more ruff and tumble holiday watches. Gonna wear the gooduns wherever. Sadly that is not my country house but warkworth castle looking down the coquet river. First time in northumberland.... It is gorgeous!
