Like the look of this dial, I've been looking at the 420333S. Does it have a quickset date? I've seen on the movement that it says Date calendar of instant action.

Yes, it's a Russian quickset – wind it past midnight to 2, then back to 10, then forward to 2, and repeat.

The worse is when you pick it up to wear that day and the date is 2 but the actual date is 31 :(

Thanks I wasn't aware of that issue I thought quickset would be a bit quicker... Can see why people have said to look at a no date one

How many times in a month are you going to have to adjust it? It's really not that much of problem.

I was thinking of getting one as a weekend watch on a nato so not wearing it enough to keep it going
