Non CW of the Day
The rainy morning has turned into a rainy afternoon... Tried a few straps on this and the one that suits me for the moment is this dark olive Steveo strap.
The watch was made in October 1991, so it turns 25 next month.

Intending to look around some Antique shops today, hoping I might find something that catches my eye.

Sunny, but breezy, morning. Out for some fresh air.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Since way before I decided that my preference was towards smaller diameter watches not wrist "saucers", I had a minor yearning for one of these. After (and still owning) an SKX007/009 then having moved on up to a Sumo, I guess the natural progression was clearly a Seiko SBDX001.
An opportunity arose over the weekend for a pre-owned model and here we have it, delivered this morning, the world famous Marine Master 300.
I'd read of it being top heavy with a crappy bracelet but I figured I'd give it a go anyway and clearly with it being the new kid on my block at least, I'm not seeing that at the moment.
It is a fairly substantial piece of wrist attire without doubt but there is an acceptable lug curvature which over my 8" wrist, I'm fine with.
Time will tell if this remains to be a keeper or not but at least I'll be able to offer an opinion down the line.

I do love the look of these but sadly my wrist won't wear it. Looks stunning on you though Gregreggie747 wrote:Since way before I decided that my preference was towards smaller diameter watches not wrist "saucers", I had a minor yearning for one of these. Re: Non CW of the Day
Looks lovely but think I'd have the same issue as IAJ, few mm smaller and it would be spot on. Is the lug to lug about 50mm?It'sAliveJim wrote:I do love the look of these but sadly my wrist won't wear it.
