Been wearing this a lot since receiving it a couple of months ago, probably my most worn watch at the moment. Sorry not a new picture.

^^^ Looking good Nigel. I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Now, regarding the Daytona, I should come clean. It's not mine (as Dancematt spotted) - I was just trying it on for size at a Rolex/Tudor event I attended this evening at my local AD. However, I am near the top of the waiting list for the white one so you never know. I'm keeping my options open as it is a truly lovely watch. However, I would have to part with several key members of my collection to get it, so that needs to be considered carefully.

While I was there I also tried on this beauty:

Really lovely and a great size at 36mm.

So the question is whether to (painfully) sell my two Explorers, Black Bay Red and Sinn 103 to get the Daytona and the BB36. Not an easy decision. Will have to start doing the lottery in the meantime to give me more options! :)

I'd try and hold back one explorer, flip an AT instead and perhaps buy only the daytona steve. Good luck

Those watches are all (1) replaceable, and (2) easy to sell. I don't see the problem here :problem:

The Daytona is a nice looking watch Steve but that's an awful lot of sales of top notch watches to get it, but good luck with your choice.

The only problem is getting to the top of "the list" in an AD, as:
- most ADs are only likely to get perhaps 3-4 a year
- have lists that seem to change with the wind

You could of course cut out the queue and buy from a dealer at about £6k-£7k above the official AD retail!!

A completely bonkers price.

The best way to get to the top of the list Steve, is probably to tell the AD you are also looking to buy Mrs Steve a nice solid gold, diamond dial DJ. :)

Simples!

A lovely watch though - the Daytona that is, not a diamond dial DJ.
