Less of an acquisition, more of a hostile take-over bid of the whole thread...

Superb, I'm deeply jealous.

I'm not going to post what I'm wearing, I'm just going to walk away in shame...

Non CW of the Day

Post by omegaaddict »

Did a whole lot of shopping during my trip to London, shoes, top notch shaving creams where on my shopping list.

This however was not, saw it at WoS in London and really liked it. Saw it again at the airport at an even better price and with the pound being where it is bit the bullet. Hopefully no buyers remorse arises

Non CW of the Day

Post by curiousdabbler »

Could this be the most horrific timepiece on here? Fortunately, the strap has had it. I attempted to replace the battery last night, but as I opened the blister pack of the new cell, it shot across the garage floor, never to be seen again.

It might look horrific, but it's a collector's piece (or will be).

Lovely watch!

Am looking at a Longines at the moment so would be really interested in hearing your thoughts on the quality.

Someone tried to make out it was worth thousands on eBay once... they don't sell for £50 even. The strap has literally disintegrated on mine, so if they do ever become valuable, mine will be near the bottom of the pile. Having said that, I've never worn it, so I'd imagine they're all pretty much the same.
