8500. It also has the smaller solver bezel ring and the more rounded hands.

I can see why it gets a lot of wear very nice watch. What size is it? I never liked breitlings until we went to an airshow recently and they had a pop up shop completely changed my opinion seeing them in the flesh
Thanks Neil. It's the Colt mark 1, 38mm diameter.

I don't particularly like divers. I don't like bracelets. I don't like the look of those old Breitling bezels.

I'm wearing this today:

It gets far more wear than any of my other watches. :ka:
I like that alot - biggest watch regret I have is selling my 25 year old Colt. Great watch that never let me down.

Not something I ever thought I wanted but I needed to get shot of that infernal Eterna Pulsometer and this was already a good price for a recently Rolex serviced full set. Rather enjoying my first and last Rolex :)
excellent watch DM, I can see how it will be your last Rolex. Enjoy it though I bet you would.

Yep...at first underwhelmed but it's grown on me significantly. no more Rolex though, they are too expensive for me on the whole, this one was a nice bit cheaper than the OP Olive I wanted from Iconic so why not....will never get another chance. still not a big fan of modern Rolex but vintage prices are getting silly!

Thanks for kind words. May post thread next week.

Love that Colt. Don't ever sell it!

I don't really like bracelets either but they are valuable:
