Not familiar with that Rolex but to me it looks like it was separated at birth from the Steinhart Ocean One Vintage, presumably the Steiny is a homage to the Rolex, down to the Merc hands?

It is indeed except the Steinhart is 42mm rather than 40mm.

Just picked up (Friday) my Grail! Brand new SubC ND. I've been in love with it since it was released and the submariner as a whole since I was a boy. Feel very lucky to be the proud owner of this brand new beauty and fully intend on being its only ever owner. Love it love it love it.
