that's one of the reasons i think the club looks really good on a perlon strap.Winnie Bloo wrote:neil8fletcher3 wrote:
I'd keep it if I was you, do you find the gap between the lugs and case is noticeable when your wearing it?I have to admit this is a question often raised - and to be perfectly honest it really doesn't bother me at all.downer wrote:^^^ looked at some Nomos yesterday in the airport display, and have to say the 'gap' is the first thing I noticed on the Club...
I suppose it's the style of the watch. I do have a couple of leather straps that actually reduce the gap quite
considerably, and no doubt a strap could be made to reduce the gap all together.......but happy as it is......
The reason it is not being worn - I do like the Metro and with it's blue horween strap...that's the
Nomos that gets chosen.

gaf1958 wrote:What's that you say? No I hadn't seen it before either... it was waiting for me when I got home. To be truthful, I was waiting for Footy to sell me his, but I figured that was never going to happen as he likes it way too much for my own goodso I had to buy my own... It also has the leather strap.
Thanks Dave. The 2500 Planet Ocean is 184g, the Damasko is 164g and the 8500 Planet Ocean in titanium is 128g - all on bracelets sized to fit my 7.25" wrist. I no longer have a steel 8500, so I can't give a weight on it, but it's certainly a little bit more than the 2500.Winnie Bloo wrote:That is an absolute stunner Gary
CONGRATULATIONS!!
What is the weight like compared to say the PO with the metal strap?
Neil, it's a great piece of engineering, but micro adjustment would be nice... The fit of the bracelet into the lugs is superb, the tolerances on this thing are phenomenal.neil8fletcher3 wrote:Great looking Damasko, what do you make of the bracelet?
Thanks Ferg!MiniMpi wrote:Congratulations on the Damasko Gary !!

Thanks mate! It's still on my wrist this morning. Two days running is pretty good for me, even with a new watch.footycrazy wrote:At last, you gave up the wait.![]()
Very nice pickup Gary and what a fabulous addition to a monster collection of Omega,s, & others. This will be interesting to see how it competes with them for wrist time.
Well done that man.

I realised a little while back it was going to be an awfully long wait before you sold yours, so I faced up to reality and bit the bullet.

Cracking pickup Gary. I do love the singular nature of the Damasko and it fits in rather well with your motley crew!gaf1958 wrote:Thanks mate! It's still on my wrist this morning. Two days running is pretty good for me, even with a new watch.footycrazy wrote:At last, you gave up the wait.![]()

It has to be one of the best looking dials out there, and from what I hear the fit and finish is up there with the best of them!
Not sure that it gives you the right to give poor old moggy a punch in the head though!!!!!!
