Squale is at +400 sec after exactly 4 weeks of everyday wear. +14 sec/day like clockwork, irrespective of position

Nice looking watch and good condition for a veteran. What made you pick it up the look or the military connection, if that isn't too nosy?

At first the brand matched with the British military history then the look (love the cow horn layout of the buttons) over the 7a28. It's probably the most accessible British mod chronograph out there and seiko still service them. I have since started looking more and more at vintage military. Wouldn't mind a jlc 6b and a Hamilton GS tropicalised. The good thing about Seikos is they age really very well unlike most swiss brands.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

^^ It's back then? Looking good, I take it they primped and polished it as part of the service?

Yes, it took just under 6 weeks. looks almost brand new ! Got some family issues at the moment so i have been too busy to even look inside the red travel pouch to see what was replaced. will try and have a look this week.
