It is getting there slowly but surely! Grip is back to normal, range of motion not at all. But I'm feeling a lot better overall!

An Eulit Perlon strap arrived today.

To see my other 44 straps displayed on the Sub, check my thread on the Straps forum - http://christopherwardforum.com/viewtop ... 53&t=36685

Nice combination, it looks really good. Are the Eulit's any softer than the cheap eBay variants? The weave looks finer/closer knit.

I'm very pleased with the Eulit. I sent off my other perlons to missF in Scotland last week (before this arrived), but I can attest that there is a definite step-up in the quality over the regular cheaper perlon straps, e.g. cheapestnatostraps. For starters, the strap feels like one piece across the entire width (due to the close tighter weave), instead of separate threads put together, if that makes sense. It is also stronger and the watch does not slide off it so I'm guessing slightly thicker too. The buckle hardware and adjustment mechanism are also improved and easy, due to the tighter weave, the pin of the bucle can't move much when you are wearing it. Most importantly, no badly placed stitching or open thread ends on the rear side which cause itching. I have ordered two more of the Eulits, one of them a two-piece perlon - lets see how that one is.

It might be very slightly smaller than the 20mm width though - you can barely just see a little of the springbar in the pic above. I bought this blue one mainly for the Squale, but it looks fine on the Sub too. The 2-piece one I'm getting next is in brown.

Thanks for the info Om, might have to check one out myself. I like perlons for summer use (if we ever get one) and this looks a much better option.
