The DeVille is very, very lovely but yes quite small - certainly a dress watch (thus I wouldn't buy it). I think the price listed was around $2500 dunno if that's good or not, let me know if you want to buy it and I'll arrange it. The Movado Datron on the other hand is quite a good size for me as a sporty watch. The watchmaker is old-fashioned (though a young guy in his 30s), and skilled at servicing but certainly needs a lesson in polishing (or rather non-polishing of vintage watches).gaf1958 wrote:Same model, yes. From memory, it's a 145.016-68. That one's been well and truly polished, but they look good shiny too...blowfish89 wrote:Omega Seamaster chrono (don't know the model number but looks like Gary's)
I like that one. Probably a little on the small side, but lovely.blowfish89 wrote:Omega Seamaster DeVille chrono with Cal. 321 (moonwatch movement)
Thanks Guy. On retrospection, I see Reggie's point - the case size is bigger than the Sub but the very nice shape of the lugs and the case make it wear like a dream.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:That's got a gorgeous profile and wonderful curves.blowfish89 wrote:

Thanks Om. If it's been serviced, it's probably a fair price, but any smaller than the 38mm 145.016 and I'd be unlikely to wear it. All of the early Omega chronos seem to run to 34-35mm at most and that's a good few mm less than I'm comfortable with.blowfish89 wrote:The DeVille is very, very lovely but yes quite small - certainly a dress watch (thus I wouldn't buy it).
