A mixture of circumstances that occur on only a few occasions.
1. One of the required sales occurs during the night.
2. We find and visit a rolex dealer close to home.
3. Dealer and owner very nice.
4. Wife likes dealer and shop.
5. Dealer happens to wear the same watch
6. I like the GMT much more than i thought.
7. Dealer sold this watch originally im 2008 so excellent provenance.
8. Watch came back from a Rolex service 2 weeks ago.
9. Watch is mint.
10. Watch a good price.
11. Dealer made me a promise to buy it back in 2 years with a maximum loss of £200
12. The good lady said do it and was genuinely happy for me to do so.
13. The good lady liked a watch of mine for once.
For me the watch just jumped out at me. It is a little heavier than I would say is ideal but it feels so well put together and solid.
The idea is to use this as my everyday watch, with the OP as my more casual watch as required.
