Well, I am about to work with some pretty gnarly chemicals so I've temporarily taken off the lovely C9 GMT I wore to the office today (see today's "CWL of the DAY"), and have instead strapped on a more robust Hamilton Khaki Field (that I put on a steel mesh band and keep in my desk drawer precisely for such contingencies).

....... Thanks Mark, really pleased with it. The strap is a bit faded; I had difficulty trying to work out whether it was black or brown (I think the standard strap with the Lugwig is black). I don't wear a dress watch very often anymore, but this will be ideal  .

Neil

pS: if I hadn't decided not to buy anymore I would be keeping an eye out for a GS now that I know Jura are an AD (providing it was in the sale :) ).

I am joining Neil today (fantastic watch) and am going back to the roots after having worn the smaller Ludwig Oberlehrer:

50 days without buying? Have you been in solitary confinement?

I plan to only buy one watch this year :D
It is taking tremendous restraint for me to not buy the Pelagos just listed (and btw Downer, you can't sell yours now as the market just went down  )

Put my Seiko skz031 on the strap from my Mk1 C8 this morning. Pretty pleased with the result.
