Neil, this is one great Tudor North Flag Please can you comment on how it compares to your Pelagos and Explorer II for size and quality? Does the yellow stand out?? How large is your wrist?

Seriously considering a North Flag or Pelagos next. My wife prefers the North Flag on looks and I think the Pelagos is too thick for me, but your thoughts would be awesome.

^^^ I tried one again the other day. I'd swap my Pelagos for one - no doubt about it.

What happened suddenly that you are looking to buy a Club Dunkel? You haven't bought anything in forever..

hey now, i did buy a watch in may (steinhart GMT). not all of us go through watches like candy bars. :P

christmas. wife is buying. she almost bought me the white club for xmas, but she was really put off by rob from watchbuys' email response to her about their returns policy. 3 days from receipt is it. not very holidays friendly and would require some pretty tight timing to pull off. and i think she was a little confused by the "you can't wear it at all because we can't resell it then" comment, thinking i couldn't even open the packaging and try it on. (i think rob just doesn't want you to buckle the strap so it still looks unused, like he does at the roadshow). that's a lot of money to spend on a speculative purchase (since i hadn't told her i loved that one).

she did buy me something else, a magrette dual time (green dial/PVD), but when we talked about it, i think she could sense it really wasn't a long-term kind of watch for me. and dion's return policy is generous. so we talked about the club (which she didn't know was on my list, but was the nomos she liked best, nice coincidence) and i said i'd really prefer the dunkel, which we could only get second hand. the positive of that being that we could probably get it for a few hundred less than a new one would cost. negative that we have to be patient.

but it's been on my "i really like this" list for a while. i even put it in my post in the 2016 targets (along w/a sinn (ux or u1)).
