Non CW of the Day
Re: Non CW of the Day
Swapped to this again for the evening.
Stuck it on one of the CW aviator straps (I bought a load recently from the Euro site) and I think that it works pretty well!
(just noticed the shirt! Sleeves have been rolled up all day hence the creases and they are reflections, the cuff is not faded!! )

That does look sweet.
I prefer this to the IWC, especially those with the missing ninesmegwina wrote:Swapped to this again for the evening.

Great minds, Winnie Bloo!
I also wanted to reference Dancematt's Rado post, by pointing out that the vintage Longines I'm wearing today also has a faceted crystal.
I don't think it makes it difficult to read the time, but it certainly makes it hard to take a proper pic of the dial.
And when you're trying to adjust the time and align the minute hand with the right marker, you have to angle the watch just right in order to get a good view.

Thanks to all the nice comments on this yesterday.
It really is a special watch that has far surpassed my expectations - not easy to do as I have very high expectations: probably explains my ridiculous turnover this past year. Still thats going to change next year with 2/3 out and 1 in

A friend had an Elgin, I think that was very similar, he would never part with it though
