Very very nice Mark.
Why thankyou gentlemen.

I was in Beaverbrooks this morning sorting something for the good lady and this unexpectedly caught my eye. Tried in on, discussions were had, monies paid.

The THEORY behind the purchase is that it a the watch to round of my collection. I wanted something silver and this fits in with my style perfectly whilst also addiing something a little different.
Exceptional addition Mark, Congratulations mate.

It is a great model, and one of the few Tags that catch my interest. I'll keep an eye out for it on SC in the future. ;)

My second non CW of the day. Unfortunately I had to give it back to the nice man on the Moser stand at SQP. If I was to get a gold dress watch, I would take this in preference to a PP, VC or JLC - lottery win required.

Mark - congratulations on your latest conquest. It does look rather good.

You must have a very understanding wife! What are the odds of getting through the Christmas shopping, without another unplanned watch purchase making its way home with you? :)

Mark, the Heuer looks rather classy and I like the blue details. This actually lead to extensive watch browsing (just to find out how much they are... ). Another great addition to the ever-changing watch box. But if you continue buying watches at that pace, we need an intervention . But then we wouldn't have a chance to see those wonderful watches - and some people wouldn't be able to buy your great used watches  - so keep it up!

Enjoy the Heuer and wear it in good health!

^^^^ nice comments guys - many thanks.

I may have flipped the odd watch over the past year or so - but i have definately found what i like now - irrespective of name. I know the style and size I like and what will be keepers. Nothing will be for sale for quite some time. The top 8 are going nowhere for a long time - they are stunning and I would have problems replacing them with better (for me).

This one especially will not be going anywhere - it truly is stunning. I always walk past Tag displays and only fate made me look at them today (the good lady's fault). I didnt plan to look and it just jumped out at me - like a watch hasnt done in years.

This is the closest watch to a genuine one watch i have seen or held. For those interested its 39mm.

Edit: to answer above - nothing more will be added in the short to medium term. My watch box is full of great watches and the pots are only good for one thing...

That is truly cracking, plenty of vintage Huer DNA in it. Reminds me of some of Mr Rick's Vintage pieces I used to drool over. If I was going to buy a Tag Huer this would be the one.
