Somewhere between 68 and 70 is my guess. My grandfather died in 72 and my dad was given it by my gran.

Very nice Tissot too! Actually I think the Seastar has one of the nicest looking layout for a diver chrono. the subdials are tightly packed instead of messing about all over the place. Not to mention the interesting colors and I particularly like the hollow hands. Not sure why it is not better received or recommended.

Cheap but cheerful! I very reluctantly took a friend of mine to a watch shop I frequented where he excitedly dished out USD5,000+ on a used Pam 88. Every now and then I saw him with his watch and I couldn't help thinking what a crazy amount of dosh for what appears to me "just a nice watch". I remembered and still feeling sad that I've spent so much effort to track down a few pieces of genuine awesome kickass watches (including Bremont Supermarine) which got snubbed eventually.....

Interesting... not sure that I've ever seen the date window in that position before. Funky.
