Lease if you can get a sub-1% lease rate. Some companies will lease for 0%. Sister leased 2012 Accord sedan fully loaded minus nav. Four year lease. Around the third anniversary she got a "please, please, please give us back the car" email, and as a result got a 2015 Accord Roadster fully loaded w/nav for same rate. Only cost to her over the lease were the oil changes. No charge to return early, no charge for road chip damage or door bangs etc. They looked at the odometer, the car overall, and said let's do it. Plus she can change it for a new model every year without penalty (we learned), and after three years the urging to turn it back in will start again. (The 2015 and 2016 were much nicer than the 2012, BTW.)

And if you're up at 6 am (your time) on Saturdays, throw this on. Eminently listenable, this can be quite a funny show by a guy who owns a car dealership and who provides advice on just about anything a caller asks, car-related, including that a car is the worst purchase you can ever make. Great early morning radio.
