Re: Non CW of the Day
My Ebel, back after 3 months from a (very costly) overhaul. Apparently the battery had leaked within. Argh.

Correct Aifo, can't wait to see your incoming mod, Theres just something about a modded seiko. I may yet go for a super oyster bracelet and add a marine master clasp for this little guy.....or i may get an alpinist sarb 059:Aifo wrote:That is a great looking modded Seiko, I believe it's based on a 7002?
I also have a modded 7002 incoming, hopefully will be able to share here in the next few days.

and add the marine master clasp, new chapter ring and sapphire...hmmmm....cant decide.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

The modded 7002 I ordered was a failure and will be returning for a refund.Dancematt wrote:Correct Aifo, can't wait to see your incoming mod, Theres just something about a modded seiko. However, some Seikos are just incredible in design, value and finishing. Also I believe they are often overlooked as to their originality. Albeit some of the designs are odd, but you can always expect the Seikos to impress, a stark comparison to some other makers which are imo too comfortable with their "classics".
