Re: Non CW of the Day
Am I insane to think the radio room watch of Master Rick is as nice as speedy?

Just got my Heuer back, its having had a new crystal and battery fitted, and a general check-up.

Re: Non CW of the Day
I see your point about pictures of the Speedy, paw. The watch looks like it has a lot more depth just in a simple wrist shot. All of the marketing pictures on the Web make the watch look flat. It's obvious that there's a lot more to the subdials for instance.paw3001 wrote:

I couldn't agree with you more:

Thanks Richard, I do seem to have collected a couple of late.downer wrote:Nice one Clarky. You must have a few Omegas now?
I had been in to my local AD several times to look at the AT but couldn't stretch to buying it new even with discount. I have been clearing out a few watches that don't get any wrist time and sell off a few other things to try and buy Nicolas's PO LM but it was /is out of my reach realisticaly and when I got lucky and found this pre loved AT for a good price I snapped it up.
I still need / should sell a couple more watches to replenish the bank account after buying this one though

No more watches for me for a while....

Re: Non CW of the Day
This was my beast before I picked up a C20 lido which has become my more refined everyday work watch. I like to keep this now for more informal occasions and water sports. Nixon 51-30 chrono. It's huge (53mm case 30mm strap) and built like a tank.
