Not too big either. Looks better than the explorer which is now gone? Congrats on an excellent swap

Thanks, the Explorer is staying put, but the Solo is on the chopping block. And that's me done. :D

Err ok, done huh? If you say so.

Interesting how quickly this decision was made relative to the 40mm Explorer.

downer wrote:Thanks guys. Picked it up this afternoon, having done the negotiation yesterday by PM and phone. There is an identical model for sale in Michael Matthews, Bournemouth (scooter pointed it out a while ago), and that made the price negotiation easier. This is "old stock" as it has "Swiss Made" rather than "London" on the dial.

Lovely! A bi-compax chrono in aviation style, just right up my alley. Congrats!

Cheers Aifo. Not dissimilar to the Sinn 358 Jubilaum I had a while ago, although I think this is a step up, and definitely a more comfortable case.

I have just seen this but read your earlier post first.

My initial reaction was "Oh no!" being aware of the new (old) one in MM (although showing in their Pre Owned selection). Then I saw this post and was so relieved.

Great watch.

Very nice, Richard.

Some Bremonts look meh to me, but that one is very tasteful. I like the grey dial.
