That really is a good match up on the Seiko Dancemat - I like it a lot.
I currently have very sore fingers having spent 3 or four hours cleaning up an old Seiko Arctura with only several grades of abrasive paper - pics to follow when I get it running again.

I only have one watch that isn't an automatic or hand-wound. It's a Seiko Solar that I usually only use when doing archaeology or hunting for spiders out in the wild. But it's a sunny day today so I thought I'd top up the battery! :D

I had a bit of a worrying start with today's choice !
Whilst setting the date it stopped between numbers ??? Nothing I could do would move it on. I am aware of the Vostock quick(ish) date change method but that was not working either. So the tools came out but as many may know, Vostock are not quite 'mainstream'. Alas, I had to give up having lost the nerve to remove more parts and still not being able to see the date wheel. Certain that I would be seeking advice from the forum I carefully put it all back together, flipped it over and the date was central ??? I have no idea how that may have happened but it works again.
I thought a couple of pics might be of interest.

Thankfully now back on the wrist - I am however a bit concerned about swimming in it though !
