I came really close to buying this one recently. How do you like it ? I want to know what magic lies in the dial.
The dial's a beautiful deeeeeeeep smoooooooth black and I found it almost impossible in somewhat limited time earlier to get a photo that would do it justice.

The first set of outdoor pics were no good because I forgot to check for spots of dust

The second set, taken indoors, suffered from a lighting imbalance which made the dial look grey

The third set contained the one shown. I've got a couple of others that I might put in a separate thread but none is really good enough to show the "magic" of the dial as it looks in real life. Today was one of the few occasions when I've really regretted selling the 1:1 macro lens I used to have.

Oh, and to answer the question, I might go so far as to say I love it :D
I am not a collector of watches. I used to be able to say that and know I was telling the truth.

Got it; thanks Chris.

Realised the issue with me. I was looking at their 'Pilot watches', of which they don't appear to have any available at present, and hadn't tried anything else i.e. the Divers. #-o

Guy,

The USD299 doesn't include shipping or Portuguese VAT which is 23%

I paid a total of USD423.12 ( around £270 ) which I think is still good value for money.

Chris.

It seriously is a perfect size. Quite envious of this purchase which is unusual for me. They need to bring back the highlands in this size to help save the company.
