Something robust required, with a child friendly strap, for a day with my grandson. He has already chewed the strap and drooled over it.

Re: Non CW of the Day
For some reason known only to her, "Herself" very kindly gifted me with a Seiko Recraft earlier this month: the blue/gray on black leather (although she did tell me she was conflicted about contributing to my watch "delinquency"). I liked it so much that I ordered a green face on bracelet (sub $150 from Princeton Watches!) and have been wearing one or the other almost exclusively since then. They're a bit wide at 44.2mm, but seem to wear smaller thanks to their 11.5mm thickness. Also, the 7s26 movement used in them isn't my favorite, but they are dependable, and no doubt help to keep the cost down. This blue/gray on black model has rapidly become my default office watch. Especially today, since it goes well with the powder blue Tarpon fishing shirt I'm wearing for "Casual Friday".
