Did a bit of research on my Omega and found some interesting facts its from 2001 model No: 2561.80.00 with movement 1538, its the rarer model as it has the white tip to the second hand and not the usual red tip.
It is known as the James Bond Omega think it was one of the original models he wore in the films.
Also found out that Prince William has the exact same watch that Princess Diana bought him - Link below.

Amazing what a bit of research throws up.

They also look much nicer with the wave effect dial, in my opinion.

A really fabulous watch and a great pictures of it.
I tried on a few GS models a couple of months ago and they were even better than I expected.

Wearing this again because I dropped it last night while taking it off, and the caseback/movement/dial popped off as one unit on impact with the floor.

I panicked, picked it up with one finger on TOP of the hands and subdial, and it didn't seem to be moving. Popped it back into the case and it resumed like nothing had happened.

Have been monitoring it for timekeeping and everything seems fine.
