Graham, yours looks great on the CW tan but I have to say I prefer Winnie's black stevostrap - black straps are in for me at the moment. I have been debating whether to get this very strap for my WEW. Not quite sure what colour stitching to ask for?

Interesting question...

The rubber strap uses the end-links from the bracelet to attach to the Pelagos. The Pelagos is titanium and the BB is steel, so clearly, the Pelagos end links would not look right on the BB - even if they would fit.

However, it turns out that the rubber strap also 'fits' on the BB end-links...

Image

So, in a practical sense it works. However, in detail I'm less convinced. The profile of the BB end-link is slightly different, which means the rubber strap sits slightly differently where the strap meets the link...

Image

Apologies for the q&d pics.

plus, at least to my eye, the BB just doesn't look "right" on rubber the way the pelagos does.

I personally think that brown / tan strap always make a watch look nice n casual where as a black one makes it a little more formal....... I think with yours Mark, I would have a plain black with cream stitching or white stitching.....

Yes you're right but I don't really know why. I think the black bay only looks right with a fitted strap/bracelet as the gap doesn't work for me so its good in that respect but seems to work better on the pelagos
Richard...thanks for that... Much appreciated
Cheers now, Paul
