I love the 'Batman' Richard.
It would be the Rolex I would buy if I could.

Edit : Just spotted that the blue is actually a reflection........and that it's a full black bezel.
A senior moment I'm afraid....

What Ferg is basically saying Richard is that he wouldn't give you a fiver for your common old black one! :P:D;)

Massive fan of GMT, main reason why I have a CW GMT and a Parnis GMT.

Congrats. Great looking watch.

If/when I have the funds to buy one I'll purchase an aluminium bezel model so I can swap bezel inserts as fancy Coke, Blueberry and a Rootbeer, as well as a black bezel.

Wasn't aware of blueberry - thanks. And the idea of swapping is pretty cool as well. I guess the modern Rolexes have much better bracelets, everything else I like in the older ones.

Thanks guys. Sometimes I regret not buying the BLNR, but mostly I enjoy the understated black and have no regrets.

Funny isn't it how the black grabs you. I had fully intended getting the blue Cameron edition DS, but the black is just soooooo versatile.

Black bezel Rolex on a bracelet is probably the most versatile watch out there. Works everywhere from a Rig to a 3star restaurant.

I think you were were right to not get the Batman. I think it will date before it becomes a classic. Black is always classic.

Perhaps but if it's the only black and blue bezel gmt II they ever make it will be worth a lot more some day.
I miss all the great things that may never be.
