Re: Non CW of the Day
Halios Tropik SS back from servicing after 1 week, now gains 1-2 second a day (earlier, used to lose 10 seconds a day). Bezel has also been aligned and loosened to not be too tight. Kudos to Halios, the surprising thing is Jason wasn't even involved after I went to the shop and they just did everything on their own as soon as they saw I had a Halios watch - no questions asked, as said by the watchmaker - the 'flowers and champagne' treatment. He also commented "this is a serious watch". Also made friends with the local watchmaker, who primarily works on Rolex (and wears a GMT Master II with the green GMT hand), and is one of the few authorized Halios service centers in the US.

Another new one? You have far too many watches that I would love to own but are a tad too small!reggie747 wrote:Quick change for the last hour

That is a seriously beautiful GS! Have you presented it in a separate thread? If not you should.reggie747 wrote:

I have only just learned (from Bernie's post) how sophisticated the GS quartz mechanism is. You clearly have a watch which is very special AND a 'wear anywhere" one too!reggie747 wrote:

This one today - had to take a quick pic of the lume as I dashed back up the stairs in the dark.

Re: Non CW of the Day

It's been the Vostock today but don't like the strap and I am struggling to find something I do like. The braclet it came on is made from monkey metal and a red striped NATO doesn't seem quite right either. Any suggestions welcome.
