Re: Non CW of the Day
So today it's my new Bradley, and I've already been asked several times "how do you tell the time?"
Luckily I'm not visually angled, as this watch is aimed squarely at those with worse vision than me, there are two BBs, which act as hands, the first, the minute 'hand' is on the main face here:
Whilst the hour 'hand' is actually tucked away inside the 'rim' of the watch here:
And to close, here's my arty shot:

Re: Non CW of the Day
Little chilly here today and a VERY dangerous photo to take
But I was brave, with the wooden watch saying......." I don't wanna burn, keep the door closed"

I'm pleased you managed to find one.Caller wrote:That's such a good looking watch, so confession time! After you posted the watch / strap combo a few weeks back, I thought I'd look out for it, but although Seiko are sold everywhere over here and I've seen more variants of the Seiko 5 than I could ever imagine actually existed, this one had obviously gone awol. So I looked on amazon and picked it up from a dealer in the Philippines for £83 and at that price, it was simply too good to resist! I'm very happy with the watch (still on the bracelet) and although I know it's not a new model, it was new to me, so thanks for the heads up!
I took the bracelet straight off and replaced it with a blue Hirsch carbon embossed waterproof leather strap.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Ok it's a digital but it does have an analogue display as well (albeit also digital!). Ok it's a sub 20 quid watch and tbh a closer inspection would confirm it's worth, but I quiet like it with it's sort of modern/retro mix, world time zones, alarms, countdown timer et al. The bracelet is nice and I've adjusted it myself (a first having viewed the exact same watch with bracelet being adjusted on U Tube) and so for me a happy Easter weekend lol
Admitted the photos do not do it justice, it really doesn't fill the wrist but it is nice and light and fits like a glove.

There's nobody around to see me, so "Miss Jenny" and I have been happily patrolling the hallway looking for enemy MIGs.

Edit - I just noticed I said I got the watch from the Philippine's, I wonder why? It came from a dealer in Singapore (via amazon).
