That's a good looking watch, is it navy issue or just a regular Seiko?
Navy issue Helicopter pilots watch. The 69th one ever issued in fact. Most people think this watch started in 1993 but mine was made in 92.
I bought it from a guy in a caravan at a military show, serviced by seiko after 20 years strong, it's pretty mint considering it probably saw service in the gulf war and I'm quite proud of it.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

Was never in doubt, WatchDoctor. Let me know when you want your forum name changed. :D

Catching up this week. Monday-Wednesday were Black Bay days, and today was a Golf AT day.

Look at the number "40" in yellow on the dial, then look at "45" - you have to read them upside down wrt each other. Same between "15" and "20".

Yes. It keeps them all right side up relative to the viewer. This Mido does the same (and with yellow numerals too!)

^Hmm, its pretty annoying to me. I don't think Rolex would do that.
I guess the tradeoff is that "30" looks upside down in the Rolex.
