Trying this new to me vintage (well, I estimate 70s) Roamer automatic.

Image

Allegedly with ETA 2783 auto movement.
Which I'll have to look into as I know Roamer (like most watch makers, e.g. Tag-Heuer) take ETA and breathe on them to produce their own movements. In Roamer's case MST xxx calibres (iirc MST were the original movement makers that then went onto use Roamer name on their own watches).

Not this time. :) I had a good look (at 06:00 in the morning for pete's sake!) the blue Milgauss, the blue Seamaster 300 titanium re-edition, several IWC chronographs and a few Zenith's. Most of them were lovely, and the prices were not bad (the Rolex AD offered specific discount to counteract the current forex rates, and the price was around Iconic level). But I am waiting to see a few GO and Nomos whenever I can.

imagine the poor guy who's job it is to be there 5 days a week by 6am to show bleary-eyed travelers expensive watches.
